Dr. Jims D. Jean-Jacques is a highly personable, trilingual Cardiologist at St. Joseph Healthcare in Maine. He is the Director of the Heart Failure Clinic and holds several leadership roles, including Chief of Medicine, President of the Medical Executive Committee, Member of the Board of Trustees, and Chairman of the Medical Ethics Committee. Previously, he served as the Vice-President of the Medical Executive Committee, Chairman of the Credentials Committee, Chairman of the Bylaw Committee, and Secretary/Treasurer of the Medical Executive Committee at St. Joseph Healthcare. Dr. Jean-Jacques completed his training in Internal Medicine and Noninvasive Cardiology at Garden City Hospital, Garden City in Michigan. Dr. Jean-Jacques received further specialized training in Advanced Heart Failure, Cardio-oncology, Cardiomyopathy, Pulmonary Hypertension, Mechanical Circulatory Assist Devices, and Transplant Cardiology at the University of Rochester Medical Center in New York. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Non-invasive Cardiology, and Advanced Heart Failure/Transplant Cardiology. In addition to his clinical roles, Dr. Jean-Jacques is actively engaged in the community as a member of the Medical Advisory Board for the Maine State Department Bureau of Motor Vehicles, the Founder of The Haitian Network of Maine, the Medical Director of the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program at Bangor Region YMCA, and a member of the Maine Medical Association Board of Directors.
